Mountain Report - June 15th, 2026

Good afternoon from Lutsen Mountains,

While we are planning for a full day of mountain fun, the gusty winds in our forecast could impact certain activities. We'll be monitoring conditions throughout the day and adjusting operations as needed to keep our guests and staff safe. Check back here for updates!

NOAA Weather Report: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Gondola Scenic Rides (10:00 AM-5:00 PM): It's a beautiful start to the day for a Gondola ride, but keep an eye on the weather. While the gondola will run in the rain, thunderstorms will require a weather hold for everyone's safety.

Alpine Slide (11:00 AM- 5:00 PM): The Alpine Slide will be opening as scheduled, but there is a chance for rain this afternoon, so be sure to get those rides in while you can!
