Cold Weather Operations Outlook - Updated @ 4:00pm 1/23
Extremely cold temperatures are forecasted over the next several days, and our teams are actively adjusting operations to reduce weather-related risks while continuing to deliver the best possible mountain experience. Because cold, wind, and visibility can change quickly, our plans may continue to evolve as forecasts become more precise. Below is our current outlook and the thinking behind each day’s operations.
Thursday, Jan 22 – CLOSED
As of 6:30am 1/22, forecasted temperatures have continued to fall and wind speeds have continued to increase forcing us to close our lifts and slopes for today.
- All lifts will be closed.
- Charlie's Alpine Bistro will operate as scheduled today.
- Stay tuned for additional updates over the next hour.
Friday, Jan 23 – CLOSED
Saturday, Jan 24 – Delayed open @10am
Cold temperatures will continue to impact operations on Saturday, with a delayed start and staggered opening across the mountain. Terrain and services will open progressively as conditions allow. Please review the schedule below and continue to check back for updates.

- Eagle Mountain via Bridge Lift or Raptor Express (to be confirmed)

- Caribou Express via Moose Access Trail
- Shuttle service provided for return transportation

- Timberwolf
All operations and hours are subject to change based on weather and conditions. Teams are continuing to evaluate whether the Bridge Lift or Raptor Express will operate on Eagle Mountain and will provide confirmation as soon as possible.
Guests are encouraged to dress for cold conditions, take warming breaks, and monitor our website and social channels for the latest updates.
Please note:
- Family Fest Night Skiing, Torchlight Parade & Fireworks have been canceled due to the extreme cold. Indoor activities will continue as planned.
Sunday, Jan 25 – Modified Operations Likely
Sunday is currently expected to follow a plan similar to Saturday, with the potential for slightly earlier openings depending on early morning temperatures. Updates will be shared as conditions become clearer.
