Mountain Report - February 23, 2026

Good news! With calmer winds and our Lift Maintenance team making a fix to Caribou, we expect to have all scheduled lifts operating. This includes: Summit Gondola, Raptor Express, Caribou Express, Ullr, Flapjack (magic carpet), and Mystery (11am-3pm).

We sincerely apologize to our guests that were with us on Sunday (2/22) for the limited operations. Closing lifts is never what we want to do, but at times what we need to do. We hope that you come back another time, so we can provide a more positive, full Lutsen Mountains experience. With the unexpectedly high winds affecting the Gondola and Eagle Mountain, and an unforeseen electical issue on Caribou, that was simply not in the cards today. Fortunately, the forecast for the coming days is looking much more favorable!

Mystery Mountain will be open on Monday and Tuesday, from 11-3. Having operated just one day since our record-breaking storm last week, Mystery Mountain will be in prime condition for some turns! Come out and ride this classic lift!

There is still powder stashes around the mountains and we are excited to get everyone back out there!
