Daily Mountain Report Update
Snow Guarantee
Lutsen Mountains guarantees to be 80% open on 4 mountains through April 12 and 95% open on 2 mountains (Eagle and Ullr) through May 3rd.
The Snow Guarantee is assessed at the time of regular opening on the guest’s scheduled ski date. It is determined by the percentage of total available trail acreage open, excluding glades and side terrain.
Refunds are not issued automatically and must be requested by the guest on their scheduled ticket date. If the Snow Guarantee is not met, the daily Mountain Report will indicate that it was not satisfied for that date and will include instructions on how to request a refund.

🏔️ Lutsen Mountains Report 🏔️
Good afternoon from Lutsen Mountains!
NOAA Weather Report (4/26): Showers likely before 4pm, then a chance of showers after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. North wind around 5 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
**Many of you asked today... we are currently planning to operate tomorrow through the rain. Conditions will be sporty, but we still expect to be able to run Raptor and Ullr lifts as scheduled. It will undoubtedly an interesting day of riding. With rain forecasted to fall all throughout the day, conditions will be extremely slushy! If you are skiing tomorrow, prepare to be wet (rain gear and a positive attitude will be helpful). Our grooming team will do what they can tidy up the slopes tonight and tomorrow morning, but bust out those water skis and be ready to ride some waves. Only 4 more days of skiing before we wrap up our 25-26 Winter season! Come on out and get those last turns in while you can. We will see you on the slopes!**
WEEKEND OPERATIONS ON EAGLE & ULLR! We will be operating for weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on Eagle and Ullr Mountains only. We will operate for two more weekends with our final day scheduled for May 3rd. We will see you on the slopes!
MOOSE MOUNTAIN CLOSED FOR SEASON: We had an incredible season of skiing on Moose Mountain. With sustained cold temps throughout December and January, snowmaking was extremely successful leading to some of the best conditions and coverage in recent history. A huge thank you to our trails team for their monumental efforts, grooming and snowmaking! From the reopening of Adrenaline and Timberwolf chair, to fantastic coverage on many of the favorite trails, this 25-26 Winter Season was one for the books!
Winter 25-26 Season Highlights:
November 28th - Opening Day
December 19th - Moose Mountain Open
January 31st - Mystery Mountain & Lift open for the first time in years
February 7th - Timberwolf Lift open for the first time in years
February 18th - Record-breaking storm dropping well over 24"
March 6th - Adrenaline open
From all of us here at Lutsen Mountains, we want to thank everyone for coming out and riding with us here on the North Shore! We always appreciate the continued support! Be sure to get your pass for next season to keep the good times rolling for the 26-27 Winter Season!
Summer Operations 2026:
Lift Maintenance is underway with their seasonal Gondola maintenance and we are targeting a summer opening day of May 16th! Alpine Slide is targeted for same opening day, but it is highly weather dependent. There is still lots of snow covering the track that needs to melt/be cleared before opening. The current rainy and warm trend we have been experienceing will certainly help, but it is more likely that the slide will open a week later, on May 23rd, for Memorial Day Weekend.
