Mountain Report - October 13th, 2026
8:00am Update: We are expecting a nice Autumn day at the mountain. We are past the peak of the red sugar maple fall colors, but the yellows on the birch, and aspens are still on full display! Come take in the views of the fall colors while they last!
NOAA Weather Forecast:.A slight chance of drizzle between 10am and 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 50.
Gondola Scenic Rides (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM): The maple trees made it past their peak, but there are still plenty of fall colors to enjoy from the midwest's only gondola! Shared gondola ticket guests will be paired together to keep the line moving forward, be prepared to ride with others. For the remainder of the Summer Operations season, we will be back to 10:00AM - 5:00PM.
Summit Chalet (Accessed via the gondola): Enjoy some food and drinks at the top of the mountain! Bar is open from 10:30AM - 4:30PM. Food Service open from 11:00AM - 4:00PM.
Charlie's Alpine Bistro (3:00PM - 9:00PM): Charlie's will be open this evening starting at 3:00PM. Come enjoy a nice meal with your loved ones while taking in the view of Moose Mountain and the colors! Live music will be playing from 7:30PM-10:00PM. Tonight's music will Pat Eliasen. See you tonight!
Alpine Slide (11:00AM-5:00PM): We will be operating on Saturdays and Sundays only. We look forward to having you this weekend! For the Alpine Slide, guests will ride up the Bridge Lift to the top of Eagle Mountain. They will then ride in a cart (that they control the speed) down the turns and dips of the track down the hill. For MEA weekend, we will operate Thursday-Sunday (15th-18th).
Pre-purchase Tickets Online: To make the most of your visit, we recommend purchasing your tickets online before you arrive. Once your purchase is complete, scan the barcode from your confirmation email at one of the automated pickup kiosks located to the right of the ticket windows or next to the Alpine Slide loading area. Your RFID cards will print instantly, so you can skip the ticket line and get straight to the fun!
