Mountain Report - September 14th, 2026
NOAA Weather Report: Showers likely, mainly after 5pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 59. Light east wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Gondola Scenic Rides (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM): With the trees beginning to turn, minimal crowds, and fantastic weather forecasted, now is the perfect time to come out and enjoy the midwest's only gondola!
Alpine Slide (11:00 AM - 5:00 PM): We have reached the end of daily Alpine Slide operations. The slide will only operate Saturday and Sunday for remainder of the Summer Season. For the alpine slide, guests will first take the Bridge lift to the top of Eagle Mountain. Once at the top, riders get to enjoy the turns and dips on there way down the slide. Come out and enjoy this classic attraction!
Summit Chalet (Accessed via the gondola): Enjoy a variety of food and drinks at the top of the mountain! Bar is open from 10:00AM - 4:30PM. Food Service open from 10:30AM - 4:30PM
Charlie's Alpine Bistro (3:00 PM - 9:00 PM): Charlie's will be open for dinner service starting at 3PM. Come enjoy a nice meal with friends and family with a beautiful view of Moose Mountain. We will have live music from 7:30-9:00. Tonight will be Gordon Thorne.
Pre-purchase Tickets Online: To make the most of your visit, we recommend purchasing your tickets online before you arrive. Once your purchase is complete, scan the barcode from your confirmation email at one of the automated pickup kiosks located to the right of the ticket windows or next to the Alpine Slide loading area. Your RFID cards will print instantly, so you can skip the ticket line and get straight to the fun!
