Snow Guarantee
Lutsen Mountains guarantees to be 80% open on 4 mountains through April 12 and 95% open on 2 mountains through April 26.
The Snow Guarantee is assessed at the time of regular opening on the guest’s scheduled ski date. It is determined by the percentage of total available trail acreage open, excluding glades and side terrain.
Refunds are not issued automatically and must be requested by the guest on their scheduled ticket date. If the Snow Guarantee is not met, the daily Mountain Report will indicate that it was not satisfied for that date and will include instructions on how to request a refund.

Good morning from Lutsen Mountains!
WINDHOLD IN PLACE FOR EAGLE, MYSTERY, AND MOOSE MOUNTAINS: Unfortunately, the forecast so far is correct and the winds are too high at the top of Eagle Mountain to be able to safely operate those lifts. We are experiencing frequent gusts over 50MPH, causing severe chair swing. We will start the day only able to operate Ullr and Flapjack (magic carpet). According to the forecast, there is still some hope that the winds will begin to settle and we may be able to run more lifts this afternoon, but we can't say for sure at the current time. We will provide updates as we can, but the chances of any additional terrain opening before noon is very slim.
Adrenaline opened last Friday (3/6) for the first time in a few years! This expert terrain, on the north side of Moose Mountain, is an exciting addition to have back on the roster. Come out and test your skills on one of the steepest trails in the Midwest!
If the winds settle and we can open Eagle Mountain, Mystery Mountain will run today, per our normal operating schedule (Friday-Tuesday). The snow on Mystery is holding up nicely and after the storm it has gotten even better! As we get towards the end of the season, we will begin dialing back operating days for this lift. Keep an eye out for updates, and make sure to get those peaceful Mystery laps, while you can!
