Music & Après

Live music at the resort is part of the full winter experience. A day on the slopes doesn't have to end when the lift closes. With live music every night of the season, craft cocktails, mouthwatering eats, and inviting alpine spaces, the nights are worth sticking around for.

Visit the event calendar to see who is playing while you're at the resort.

Late Night at Lofty Gondola

Fridays & Saturdays | 8:30–11 PM

Late nights at Lutsen have a familiar rhythm, and it usually starts with Timmy Haus.

A longtime North Shore favorite, Timmy’s live sets are a staple of the Lutsen experience — relaxed, engaging, and exactly what you want after a full day on the mountain. His acoustic style pulls from multiple genres, blending originals with covers that feel effortless and easy to settle into.

As the evening winds down, the Lofty Gondola fills with conversation, clinking glasses, and music that keeps the energy going without feeling rushed. Whether you’ve been here all weekend or just wrapped up après downstairs, this is the kind of late-night scene that makes you glad you didn’t call it a night early.

Bluegrass Festival

March 27-29

Trade ski poles for fiddles and feel the rhythm hit the runs. Join us for a full weekend of live bluegrass jams, line dancing lessons, and our signature mogul competition: The Banjo & Bumps Showdown. Skiers charge the moguls in a high-energy battle of speed, style, and swagger with snow flying as banjos and fiddles set the pace below. When the boots come off, the hoedown begins. Enjoy live music, guided line dancing classes, and après vibes that keep the party rolling all weekend long. Festive attire highly encouraged, so think flannel, fringe, denim, cowboy hats, and a little mountain flair. Whether you’re ripping the bumps or stomping your boots, this is a can’t-miss celebration of skiing, sound, and mountain soul.
