Operations Update for 2/2 - FIS Race and New Snow

FIS RACE ON CARIBOU - TRAIL CLOSURES

We are excited to once again hold our annual FIS ski race!

This event has brought many Olympians to the slopes of Lutsen over the years, including the Minnesota legend, Lindsey Vonn!

Caribou (run) will be roped off and closed to the public as well as the trails to the skier's right (Caribou Curve, Caribou Return, Caribou Sneak and Coyote). While those trails are closed, spectators will be able to see some of the action. Come out and watch these athletes (and possible future olympians) battle for the podium here at Lutsen!

NEW SNOW!

Mother Nature blessed us with a couple of inches overnight. This fresh layer should make  the groomers primed and ready for some hard carving fun and a little cushion everywhere else.

All scheduled lifts are expected to run (and one more coming soon - stay tuned!).

MYSTERY MOUNTAIN OPEN!!! (Thursday-Sunday)

After multiple years being unable to run, we’re excited to share that Mystery Lift made its return on Friday(1/30), adding even more options to explore! Come on out and enjoy this classic lift and the fun terrain it accesses!

Mystery will be open from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM, giving guests a solid window to get out and enjoy the mountain.

We plan to operate Thursday-Sunday each week and as staffing permits.

Come on out to enjoy some turns here on the North Shore. We will see you on the slopes!
