Daily Mountain Report Update
Snow Guarantee
Lutsen Mountains guarantees to be 80% open on 4 mountains through April 12 and 95% open on 2 mountains through April 26.
The Snow Guarantee is assessed at the time of regular opening on the guest’s scheduled ski date. It is determined by the percentage of total available trail acreage open, excluding glades and side terrain.
Refunds are not issued automatically and must be requested by the guest on their scheduled ticket date. If the Snow Guarantee is not met, the daily Mountain Report will indicate that it was not satisfied for that date and will include instructions on how to request a refund.

🏔️ Lutsen Mountains Report
Good morning from Lutsen Mountains!
We are in for an overcast day here on the hill, with a chance of intermittent rain/snow. Winds will be mild, temperatures in the high 30s/low 40s, and we expect all scheduled lifts to operate as normal. It should be a great day of skiing/riding!
FIS race on Caribou Wednesday-Sunday: This weekend, we have our final race of the season. This FIS race will host some of the best college racers in the Midwest, come on out and watch some high-level racing! For this event, Caribou (trail) will have closures each day. Today (3/21) the race has finished the Giant Slalom portion and Lower Caribou will reopen for public riding. Upper Caribou will still be closed today and most of tomorrow. You can still access the trails by Timberwolf, but only at the crossing at the top of the course, be mindful of racers about to start their run. Timberwolf Lift will be operating for the weekend and will allow easier access to the trails on that side of the race course.
Adrenaline opened on 3/6 for the first time in a few years! This expert terrain, on the north side of Moose Mountain, is an exciting addition to have back on the roster. Come out and test your skills on one of the steepest trails in the Midwest! With quality work from our winch cat operators, it is still skiing nicely!
Mystery Mountain will be open today, per our normal operating schedule (Friday-Tuesday). The snow on Mystery is holding up nicely and after the last storm it has gotten even better! As we get towards the end of the season, we will begin dialing back operating days for this lift. Keep an eye out for updates, and make sure to get those peaceful Mystery laps, while you can!
As we come into our final month of daily operations, we want to thank everyone for coming out and riding here at Lutsen Mountains! We always appreciate the continued support!
Come on out and enjoy the day, skiing/riding on the North Shore!
We will see you on the slopes!
