Located at the mountain base area next to the Summit Express Gondola, our Scandinavian Chalet now offers cafe service, apres bar and music, as well as our NEW Rosie's Cafe Pizza.
Outdoor seating is also available on our deck overlooking KooKoo. High-top tables, lounge seating, and fire tables are now available.

Here is where it all started, the top level of the Scandinavian Chalet was the original bar area at Lutsen Mountains. We've revitalized the area with a NEW modern feel, enjoy your apres cocktails and snacks with views overlooking the slopes and Lake Superior.
Friday, Saturday, and Holiday evenings will offer extended hours, live music, and our NEW Rosie's Pizza Cafe options.

Beginning summer 2023, Midwest Family Ski Resorts Properties will no longer accept cash as a form of payment. Cash may still be used as a form of gratuity, and non-MFSR-owned vendors may still accept cash.
For guests who do not have non-cash forms of payment when they arrive at Lutsen Mountains, reverse ATMs that dispense Mastercard gift cards are available in our Scandinavian Chalet and Summit Chalet.
