Recreation Attendant

A Recreation Attendant at Lutsen Mountains will work as a team to provide a great experience for summer and fall resort guests. All attendants will work at the Alpine Slide, additional locations include the Summit Express Gondola for attendants 18+ and Voyageur Canoe Tours for experienced staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following:

  • Provides a friendly greeting to Lutsen Mountains guests.
  • Ensures safe loading and unloading of guests boarding the lift. 
  • Runs, starts, and stops the lift when necessary. 
  • Loads and unloads alpine sleds onto and off of the chair lift.
  • Works either at the top or bottom of the lift. 
  • Help direct guests to appropriate areas.
  • Assists guests with carrying sleds at the Alpine Slide if needed.
  • Dries the Alpine Slide after dew or rain. 
  • Helps to maintain the guest areas including garbage pick up, sweeping, grounds work, brochure and supply restocking, and other items instructed by management.
