Compensation: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 salary (based on experience)

Seat Overview 

The Front of House (FOH) Team Member is responsible for delivering welcoming, efficient, and consistent guest service across all food and beverage outlets. This role may include responsibilities as a server, bartender, host, busser, cashier, or food runner, depending on assignment and operational needs. FOH Team Members play a critical role in shaping the guest dining experience and supporting smooth resort operations. 

 

Seat Purpose 

Create positive, memorable dining experiences by delivering attentive service, supporting operational flow, and upholding resort hospitality standards at every guest touchpoint. 

 

Core Accountabilities 

  1. Guest Experience: Deliver friendly, attentive, and professional service that reflects resort hospitality standards, ensuring guests feel welcomed, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. 
  1. Service Execution: Perform assigned FOH duties accurately and efficiently (order taking, food and beverage delivery, seating, checkout, etc.) to support timely, smooth service during all volume levels. 
  1. Team Support & Flow: Collaborate with FOH teammates, shift leads, and BOH staff to maintain clear communication, proper pacing, and coordinated service across all outlets. 
  1. Cleanliness & Readiness: Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready dining rooms, bars, service stations, and work areas throughout the shift, including adherence to opening and closing standards. 
  1. Sales & Product Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of menus, pricing, and promotions; confidently answer guest questions and support upselling and cross-selling when appropriate. 
  1. Compliance & Safety: Follow all food safety, alcohol service, cash handling, and resort safety policies to protect guests, teammates, and the business. 
  1. Professional Communication: Communicate clearly, respectfully, and proactively with guests, teammates, and leaders to resolve issues, escalate concerns, and anticipate operational needs.

Qualifications & Competencies 

Required 

  • Ability to provide friendly, professional guest service. 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to follow procedures, service standards, and safety guidelines. 
  • Willingness to learn menus, systems, and service expectations. 
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods. 
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed. 

Preferred 

  • Prior experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or guest services. 
  • Experience working in a high-volume or resort environment. 
  • Familiarity with POS systems. 
  • Alcohol service certification (where applicable). 
  • Interest in growing into a lead or supervisory role. 

Physical & Environmental Requirements 

  • Stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift. 
  • Lift, carry, and transport items up to 30 lbs. 
  • Work in fast-paced indoor and outdoor dining environments typical of resort operations.
