Seat Overview
The Assistant Head of Housekeeping is responsible for the daily execution of housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms, public spaces, and wellness areas are clean, organized, and guest ready. This role drives staffing efficiency, quality control, and operational flow while supporting team development and maintaining resort standards.
Seat Purpose
Drive daily housekeeping execution, staffing efficiency, and quality control to ensure all rooms and common areas meet resort standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Daily Operations: Oversee room assignments, staffing levels, and shift execution to ensure on-time readiness.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and corrective follow-up to maintain high QC pass rates.
- Labor Efficiency: Align staffing with occupancy levels to control overtime and maintain productivity.
- Training & Coaching: Execute onboarding and provide real-time feedback to maintain standards.
- Inventory Operational Readiness: Oversee ordering, par levels, and organization of linens, supplies, staging, and storage areas to ensure teams are fully equipped and operations run efficiently.
- Issue Resolution: Escalate and coordinate resolution of guest, homeowner, or maintenance concerns.
- Public Area Standards: Maintain cleanliness across restrooms, chalets, pool/spa, and base areas.

Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, lodging, or hotel operations
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage staffing and daily operational flow
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Resort or condo-hotel experience
- Experience with room inspections and quality control processes
- Experience managing inventory or supply ordering
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods across resort property
- Lifting up to 40 lbs (linens, supplies, equipment)
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and operational environments
- Indoor and outdoor work conditions
- Availability for weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods
