Position Overview:
Join our Front of House team at Lutsen Mountains and be part of an exciting, fast-paced, and high-energy environment. As a Server, you are the face of our food and beverage experience. This position guides guests through our menu, takes orders with accuracy, and ensures the dining experience is memorable—whether it's après-ski or a sunny summer lunch on the patio. Your ability to provide friendly, fast, and knowledgeable service helps shape a guest’s entire visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly, introducing the menu and offering recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely, professional manner.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized section, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other servers to ensure smooth service.
- Handle payments and close out checks accurately and efficiently.
- Be familiar with resort offerings to assist guests with questions or upsell activities and events.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Prior server or restaurant experience preferred, but we will train the right person.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak resort times.
- If in a seasonal capacity whether summer or winter - must be available for the duration of the season (Winter: Mid-November – Mid April | Summer June-October).
