Position Overview:   

Join our Front of House team at Lutsen Mountains and be part of an exciting, fast-paced, and high-energy environment. As a Server, you are the face of our food and beverage experience. This position guides guests through our menu, takes orders with accuracy, and ensures the dining experience is memorable—whether it's après-ski or a sunny summer lunch on the patio. Your ability to provide friendly, fast, and knowledgeable service helps shape a guest’s entire visit. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly, introducing the menu and offering recommendations. 
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. 
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely, professional manner. 
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns promptly. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized section, including tables, chairs, and service stations. 
  • Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other servers to ensure smooth service. 
  • Handle payments and close out checks accurately and efficiently. 
  • Be familiar with resort offerings to assist guests with questions or upsell activities and events. 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum age of 18 
  • Prior server or restaurant experience preferred, but we will train the right person. 
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills. 
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. 
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak resort times. 
  • If in a seasonal capacity whether summer or winter - must be available for the duration of the season (Winter: Mid-November – Mid April | Summer June-October).
