John Kerns is a Twin Cities musician and songwriter with a diverse musical background, from children’s albums and church music direction to performing in a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band. A powerful vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, he is equally skilled behind the scenes in sound and recording. Inspired by a musical family, John has been playing piano, saxophone, and guitar since childhood and has honed his craft through decades of teaching and performing, now focusing on sharing his music widely through live shows.
