WE ARE NOW CASHLESS
Beginning summer 2023, Midwest Family Ski Resorts Properties will no longer accept cash as a form of payment. Cash may still be used as a form of gratuity, and non-MFSR-owned vendors may still accept cash.
For guests who do not have non-cash forms of payment when they arrive at Lutsen Mountains, reverse ATMs that dispense Mastercard gift cards are available in our Scandinavian Chalet and Summit Chalet.
Lift Ticket Policies
Advance purchase of tickets with start dates on Saturdays or during Winter Break (12/27 – 12/31) or President’s Weekend (2/16 - 2/18) require a 2-day minimum. Single-day lift tickets will be offered within 7 days of arrival, subject to availability.

Online Lift Tickets must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance to qualify for advance rates. Lift tickets are date specific and cannot be transferred to another date. Online orders are due in full at the time of purchase.

Release of Liability Form
A new waiver of liability is required each season for every guest. Waivers can be filled out anytime at www.lutsen.com/waiver and will attach to your guest record on your first visit of the season. Each person on your order must have a completed waiver prior to entering the ticket line.
lift ticket cancellation policy
Tickets are non-refundable—A credit may be applied for purchases that have not been redeemed (valid for one year from the date of cancellation). To receive a credit, customers must contact guest services before the end of operating hours of the date on which the ticket product was to be redeemed.
online customer credit policy
A credit only holds the value of the product they are issued for. If a credit is used to purchase a product at a lower price, the credit will hold the remaining balance for future use within the time frame the credit is valid. If the credit is used to purchase a product at a higher price, the customer will need to pay the difference in value. Credits may only be used to purchase packages, lessons, lift tickets, and/or rentals. Credits may NOT be used for events, food & beverage, tuning, or retail purchases.
All discounts and packages must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance. Online rates are not available at the ticket windows.
