FREE Rental & Lessons Offer Instructions
The Lutsen Mountain's Family Spring Break package includes free rental and lessons for everyone on the package*.
Free Lesson Information:
- Every person on the package receives one free lesson*. Lessons offered with the Family Spring Break Package are non-transferable to other people on the package.
- Beginning adults join the one hour group lesson at 10:15 either ski (age 13+) or snowboard (age 10+). Adults level 2 and up receive a one-hour semi-private ski or snowboard lesson. Kids 6-12 can join either the 9:45 or 12:30 ski group class for a 2 hour ski session. If you have a tot up to age 5, please see below*.
- We strongly encourage you to pre-register as class sizes are limited.
*What if I have a tot (child 0-5) that is skiing?
Lutsen Mountains offers a free Tot Lift Ticket with the purchase of an adult lift ticket for the same day(s). Since free Tot Lift Tickets are not sold as part of a package, Tots are not eligible for the free lessons or rental on the Family Spring Break package.
If you have a Tot and are interested in the free rental and lessons offer for them, you must include them in the package as a child 6-12.

Call Lutsen Mountains Ski School at 218-406-1325 or email the school at learn@lutsen.com. Include the following information for every person on the package wanting a lesson:
- Names
- Ages
- Preference for Ski or Snowboard
- Ability level
Free Rental Information:
Each person on the package qualifies for free ski rental. When you complete your package order, use the Rental Code given to you to redeem your free rentals from Lutsen.com. Rental codes must be redeemed online 72 hours prior to your ski-start day.
