Summit Chalet
The Summit Chalet at Lutsen Mountains is a breathtaking mountaintop destination. Take the tram to the top of Moose Mountain and take in the scenic Northwoods while enjoying lunch, snacks, or beverages. Inside and outside deck seating is available, both with a stunning view of Lake Superior.

The Summit Chalet is located at the summit of Moose Mountain, guests can access the chalet by riding the Summit Express Gondola or by hiking the Superior Hiking SPUR Trail.
A ticket is required to ride the Summit Express Gondola, tickets are available for purchase online or onsite at our ticketing office located at the base of the gondola.
WE ARE NOW CASHLESS
Beginning summer 2023, Midwest Family Ski Resorts Properties will no longer accept cash as a form of payment. Cash may still be used as a form of gratuity, and non-MFSR-owned vendors may still accept cash.
For guests who do not have non-cash forms of payment when they arrive at Lutsen Mountains, reverse ATMs that dispense Mastercard gift cards are available in our Scandinavian Chalet and Summit Chalet.
