Kids Rule at Lutsen Mountains - Enroll your children in Kids programs with confidence

• Snowboarding is only offered through adult lessons for children ages 10 and above. Please go to the adult lessons page for class options.
• Lesson availability is limited. Not all lessons are offered every day.

• All of Ullr is designated as a slow skiing zone to provide little learners and families a non-threatening environment to build skills at their own pace

Kinderschool: (Age 4-5: ski program: rope tow only)
Like Snowbunnies, Kinderschool offers a combination of indoor and outdoor play, but the Kinderschoolers get started on skiing. Our Pros, who are handpicked because of the special rapport thay have with kids, are trained to give young skiers confidence and instill an early love for the sport.

Mountain Rangers: (Age 6-12: ski program: lift and runs determined by group abilities)
Mountain Rangers are explorers. Whether out for their first day or avid skiers, the Mountain Rangers program groups kids of similar ability and leads them on a great adventure. Through the process they learn an amazing array of new skills, hidden in a full day of fun.

Snowbunnies:(Age 3: play program: must be potty trained)
Offered on a limited basis. Reservations are required. Our introduction to the fun of winter sports, the Snowbunnies program is a perfect combination of outdoor play and indoor action at the Lutsen Children's Center. Warning, while snowbunnies don't ski, they are part of the ski school and come home with the ski bug. They will likely become skiers for life.

For more individualized instruction, semi-private lessons are recommended. Semi-Private lessons may accommodate up to 4 students of similar ability levels matched by ski area.
