Doe Camp 2007 Schedule
Thursday - Check-in after 3:00 PM
7:00 PM - Enjoy stories by the lodge fireplace (legends, tales, stories of strong women) with appetizers and wine, in Lutsen, Grand Marais, or Gunflint Trail.
Friday
Morning: Continental breakfast at each lodging facility, followed by options:
- Body awareness session (yoga & Pilates)
- Massage at one locations in each of three areas (campers to schedule 30 min. sessions)
- Craft class (knitting, felting, jewelry-making)
- Free time
- Guided hike (Gunflint Trail, Lutsen) or tour to the Little Cedar Spirit Tree (Witch Tree)
Lunch: each camper on her own
Afternoon: repeat opportunities b - e
Dinner: 6:30 - 8:30 PM - Game & wine dinner by local culinary experts.
Learn recipies and tips on preparing wild game.
Saturday
Morning: 9:00 AM - noon - Grazing in Grand Marais - "progressive breakfast" in the shops.
Afternoon: 1:00 - 4:00 PM - in Lutsen, gondola ride to lunch buffet / Dear Gear fashion show.
Evening:
6:00 - 7:30 PM - Doe d'oeuvres, wine, gallery tour and fireside art conversation at Sivertson Gallery.
8:00 PM - ???: Poker/snacks at one location in each of the three areas, plus film/popcorn night in Grand Marais
Sunday
Checkout:
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Brunch w/ live music lakeside at Lutsen Resort.
